More good golf

I have done it again, played another round of good golf.I had 95 hits which on my handicap of 31 gives me a 64 nett which is an amazing score.I will reduce my handicap to 28, I can't believe this good golf is lasting so long.

Golf is taking over my life!

This photo was taken on Belmont golf course in 2004 when I was on holiday in Hereford England where I was born and raised.I am rather busy at the moment, golf has started and I am quite involved in the organisation of weekly games. If any of you out there play golf you will know that you can't expect more than one good round a season! Well I have won the trophy two weeks in a row which is amazing if you knew how I played golf.I started playing 30 years ago and it took me 8 years to break my handicap. Now 22 yaers later I am on 30!!!! Great progress. This year Narromine has been given the honour of hosting the Western Districts golf tournament along with Dubbo. We are expecting in excess of 130 ladies on both Tuesday and Wednesday 13/14th May.We have to provide lunch on both days, as well as playing golf.

Lucky Raffle winner

Narromine Cancer Support group held a garden party/fete. Club Quilt had a stall, lots of our members donated some goodies to sell, we raised $250 on the day. The first prize in the raffle was a painting by a local artist Faye Gardener and I was lucky enough to win it.Its a beautiful painting typical of the landscape around the river in Narromine.
