Linda's Bag Swap has arrived

This is the beautiful bag I have received from Paula . I am thrilled with it. The second photo shows the extra goodies she kindly sent. Some golfing fabric, a pin cushion and needle case and a golf pin. Thanks Paula I really appreciate your gifts.

Photos Courtesy of Happy in Quilting

Peg(happy in quilting) loaned me her camera, I took the pictures and she emailed them to my blog, where they sit in draft form until I post them. A BIG thankyou to Peg.This is the pin cushion I have made for the Stitchers Angels swap. I have made it in fabric to match all the other accesories in the swap. The original was made in chennille which looked great. Thanks to Cotton Spice Quilting for this free pattern.

This is the scissor holder I have made for my Stitchers Angel swap. It was really easy to make. I did do the cat embroidery (per the pattern) but decided to go with the pretty fabric. Thanks to Lynette Anderson-O'Rourke for this pattern. I really enjoyed making it.

No camera

I have been to Sydney to visit my grandsons and I have left my camera behind, so until I get it back I will be posting old holiday snaps.I have finished the pin cushion and the scissor holder for the Stichers Angels . I received my bag today from Paula in USA. It is just great. A lovely embroidered front and a happy striped fabric for the rest of the bag. Also enclosed was a pin cushion and needle case in the same fabric. A couple of pieces of golf ball fabric and a golf club badge, which I will wear to golf tomorrow. Thankyou so much Paula I love it.

Scrappy continued

I started sewing this quilt 2 weeks ago at our Sunday get together and continued with it yesterday at our Club Quilt get together. I laid it out when I got home and I am surprised and happy with the result. I normally don't use bright colours, but I think it looks good. I started sewing the rows together last night, so it should be completed soon.

Scrappy from OS

This pattern was kindly sent to me by Quilter Going Bananas. Club Quilt are organising a scrappy weekend, we all bring scraps and swap and make a quilt, we are thinking of using this pattern, a big thankyou toQGB.
