Cyber Stitching
These are two of the stitcheries featured in the Annie Downs new book Simple Pleasures. Only 10 to go.
The lovely prizes I won by answering Peg's trivia questions.
Some of the goodies that were in our package we received from Karen at Mrs. Martin's Quiltshop.
Well guess where I've been all day!!! Peg organised for Club Quilt members to be involved in a cyber stitching day. The earthly day was organised by Karen from Mrs.Martin's Quilt Shop in Victoria. Peg organised for all 14 of us to receive a kit from Karen which contained a couple of stitchery kitsfrom Mrs.Martin's, Annie Downs new book Simple Pleasures and patterns from Gail Pan. We assembled at Pegs beautiful home at 10.00am, first it was morning tea then some stitching and laughing and goodies. Pegs generosity never fails to amaze me.She had organised for everyone to receive a gift from her . James, Peg's DH had cooked up a storm. Pumpkin soup, followed by lasagne, zucchinni slice, chicken curry and salad followed by ice cream cone.See Dragonfly's blog for photo's of the food.More stitching and laughter and then afternoon tea. What a way to spend a cold Winters day. Thanks to all the girls for their company.Big thankyou to Karen and all her team for the kits. A huge thankyou to Peg and James for the use of their home and for their generosity, it really is appreciated.
