Star Quilt

I have had this top in my cupboard for at least 3 years and thanks to the OPAM challenge I decided to look in my cupboard to see what I would like to finish. This jumped out at me, so I quilted it over the weekend and I am really glad I did.

Birthday Fabric Quilt Finished

I have finished the quilt. It looks better in real life. I will bring it to Nundle for GDINC.

Borders

I decided to finish off the squares to form a border on my birthday fabrics quilt. I have started to quilt it and will have it finished this weekend.

Owen's Quilt

Friends of my son and DIL have a 6 year old son, Owen, who has been diagnosed with luekaemia so I thought I would make him a quilt to help brighten his days during treatment

I am making a scrappy lattice quilt with some of my birthday fabric. I have to make 256 half square triangles , here are 56 ready to sew.

Birthday Fabrics Finished

This is the table topper finished, I stippled it and made a scrappy bind. It is ready to take to the GDITC in March. My first OPAM!!!

Birthday fat quarters

This is what I have made with some of the fat quarters I received in the birthday swap that was organised by Chookyblue at the Girls day in the country last March. It is a table topper, I hope to quilt it and bind it today. Had a great day with the Club Quilt girls, most enjoyable.

SSCS

This is the beautiful wall hanging that I received in the SSCS from Dianah. Also all the other goodies pictured. Thankyou Dianah they are really great gifts.

Club Quilt Christmas Party

Last night Club Quilt Narromine held it's Christmas party. We had a delicious meal and then exchanged hand made gifts. This is what I received, made by Pat. It is beautiful, thankyou Pat.

SSCS decoration

This is the decoration I received from Dianah as part of the Secret Santa Christmas Swap organised by chookyblue. It goes perfectly with the silver and gold decorations I have on my tree. I am opening the gift I received from Dianah on Christmas day.

Final football quilt

I have finshed the three football supporter quilts that I was aked to make. This is number 3. I will have to pack them up and get them to their new owners.

Secret Stitchers Angel

These are the three gifts I sent to my secret stitcher angel swap partner. I made a pin cushion, needle case and a fold up sewing companion.

I have made this quilt for a friends daughter who turns 1 next month.The embroidery is from a pattern by Leanne Beasley and the fabric is simplicity.
