Welcome to 2008

I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and are all enjoying the new year. I have been to Sydney for Christmas to celebrate with my two sons their wifes and my five grandsons. We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect so was the food and the gifts and the company. After Christmas we returned to Narromine accompanied by our four oldest grand children. The baby is a bit of a handful so we left him behind, maybe this year he can come for a visit. They stayed for a week and then it was time for DH and I to have a holiday(although I always say my life is one big holiday). We headed south to the south coast of Victoria and did a trip along the Great Ocean Road. This road follows the coast from south of Geelong in the east to Warrnumbool in the West for approx 250ks. It was built by returning soldiers from the first world war as a memorial to those who died fighting. It was started in 1919 and completed in 1932.We also played some great golf courses with amazing scenery.
