Girls Day in the Country

I am back from a great weekend spent in Nundle at The Girls Day in the Country. Rosalie Quinlan and Leanne Beasley were the guest tutors and it was all organised by Kerry Swain from Cottage on the Hill. What a wonderful time we had. This is the project I am trying to achieve. It is punch needle and designed by Rosalie, hers is the front of a bag. I am going to make mine into a wall hanging.

This is as far as I have got, it takes a lot of work. The grass looks a bit dodgy, its verigated thread. The golfing season starts tomorrow, we begin with 9 holes and a delicious lunch so I am, going to help organise that this afternoon, will keep you posted on how I went.

Oh, Dale - you must wonder why I don't Comment on your blog - I couldn't get into it because it said I wasn't invited - Peg has just given me the correct address, so you'll hear from me now!
Love your punch-needlework!
Hugs - Lurline♥
