We are starting with a 7 day bus tripof the south island.. We landed in Christchurch but because of the earthquake their was a lack of accomodation close by so this is where we were taken, about an hours drive, what a view!!!
The first day we drove to lake Tekapo, the water is this colour because of the mica which is washed from the glaciers.This country is beautiful and if you have the chance to travel there do so as you will not be disappointed.

Looks like a great trip - it is beautiful there. I can still picture the colour of that water and was there in 1985 LOL
